The international training course ‘Training of Trainers in Good
Agricultural Practices (GAP) for Women & Small Farmers’ will be held
from January 7 to11, 2018 in the Educational Center of Agriculture and
Natural Resources ‘Hazrat-e-Rasoul’ in Damghan city. Mr. Seng Kit Chan,
an international resource person from Malaysia will present the course.
As reported by the Public Relations of NIPO, the main targets of the
course include empowerment and support of women productivity
practitioners to disseminate the GAP among women and small farmers,
recommendations on improvement of adaptation with GAP for women and
small farmers in various provinces, and implementation of GAP toward
improvement of safe food production.
It is note-worthy that the training course will be held in the form
of an APO National Follow-up Program (NFP) at the request of the Nomad
& Rural Women Agricultural Activities Development Office (NRWAADO)
of the Vice-presidency of Dissemination in the Ministry of Agriculture
